This is not folklore, this is not a trend. Today and tomorrow, it is and will be part of your reality, it is genuinely factual and concrete.
What could be richer than looking and trying to understand the person standing next to me, the one that is far from me. Because there isn’t only one way to do it, to be or to think. And what is true for us here can be different somewhere else.
It is not a question of challenging each other to find out who is right, but it is a question of trying to understand each other, to acknowledge each other and to act knowing we are complementary.
I’ve said this many times before : we are all different, we just have to take a look at each other right now, it’s obvious. And ironically, this is our common feature.
Let this “Smart English Day” remind us, by practising our English language skills as best we can, that the more we learn a language and are put in a situation to learn it, the more we’ll be able to find serenity and peace in our relationship with others.
